How do the individual templates work?

After your purchase you will instantly receive an email with instructions on how to get your file. Either a link to a canva template OR a link to packaged indesign files.

 

Do I need a paid Canva account to use the Canva templates?

To use the same fonts we have used in the design, yes, you will need a paid canva account to be able to upload the relevant fonts to your account.  

If your brand fonts are free fonts included within Canva then you will be able to use your free account and will just need to update the fonts within the file before use.

 

Do I need a paid Adobe account to use the Indesign Files?

Indeed you will.

 

Can I update the templates to match my brand fonts + colours?

Absolutely! You have 100% full control.

 

Are the fonts from your designs included?

Free fonts:

In the Adobe Indesign files – yes, the free-fonts used within the designs are packaged within the in-design files.

In the Canva files – no. You will need to download the free fonts – using the links below and upload them to your paid canva account.

  

Fonts to Purchase:

All Class – The script font we have used with these designs is called: Sallome. It costs $16 for a personal licence which you can download here >

Spirited – The script font we have used with these designs is called: Brittany Signature Script. It costs $23 for a personal licence which you can download here >

Why have you not used all free fonts?

Fonts are not all made to be equal, and while there are many great free fonts out there, free, well-designed script fonts are not so prevalent.

We have included paid fonts into our designs for the simple fact that they are, well, better, and we want to give you only the best. Plus they are super affordable so we didn’t think it would be asking too much for the added purchase to make these template designs oh, so much better.

 

Do we get the photo’s and images used in the templates?

Images are the things that make good design sing. While we don’t own the rights to the images used in our designs they have all been sourced from unsplash and we have kindly curated photography boards from each of the different styles for you. Please download and use at will.

Payment + Licensing

 

 

Can we use the templates for multiple clients?

Yes you can, but please make sure you select a Commercial License which allows you to use the designs for multiple clients.  

 

I haven't received an invoice or download link

After your payment is processed you should immediately be sent a confirmation of your order email. This email contains information about your order and a link to download your chosen products.

First up please check your spam/junk folders to see if our email has ended up in here.

If you still cant find your order and it has been over half and hour – please contact us at hello@thedesignorder.com.au and we will do our best to investigate where it is has disappeared to. Please note our offices are open Mon-Friday 9am-4pm Sydney Australia time.


Refund Policy

 

 

What is your refund policy?

Due to the nature of digital products, The Design Order templates are non-refundable.

We want you to be happy with your order, so please contact us before making a purchase with any queries you may have for each item.

 

 

We know our templates are awesome but dont just take it from us.
